For over ten years, London's bass producers
Various Production (real names: Adam Phillips and Ian Carter) have been gently tugging at the electronic earlobe. This March will see the release of their highly anticipated new material. A-side "12seven," a return to dance tempos, is part Chicago, part Detroit and part a warehouse during the early hours. "Key" on the B-side continues the house vain and
"opens with intro that asks you to question what is about to come as erratic drums and keyboards crawl towards the body of the tune." "Opus" is the second release on their Digital Label Version and is another example of Various Production's ability to jump from one genre to the next but still have a unquestionably distinctive, unique sound.
